This course is suitable for the smaller business or business within a low risk category and for those wishing to increase their employment prospects and to have basic skills to save a life. The course day runs for 8hrs as we believe prevention of incidents are important and the first topic of the day is practical work that considers hazards in your workplace so you are then in the position to mitigate against them. It also allows us the opportunity to cover the Emergency First Aid at Work +F syllabus if needed. EFAW +F has additional topics: catastrophic haemorrhage, Lyme disease, crush injuries and hypothermia for forestry workers.
The EFAW can also be covered as part of our Emergency Preparedness Course which is for people living, working or travelling in countries that can be affected by flood, fire, tsunami or earthquake. We have a waterproof manual for organisations that need to work outdoors or in harsh environments.
